Have you ever wanted to go on an archaeological dig in Israel?

Each year Dr. Manor takes people to help with the excavation at Tel Beth-Shemesh. The dig period is about 4 weeks long. You will learn proper methods of participating in a dig, and you might be surprised by what you find! You can go for 2, 3, or 4 weeks.

Fees for the full 4 weeks are about $2,600 and include room, board, and camp fees. Airfare, weekend travel, and travel between the airport and kibbutz are additional. For those who stay less than 4 weeks, the fee will be less and determined per week (plus airfare, etc.). Partial weeks are not prorated, but payment is for the entire week or any part thereof.

Fees for weekend travel, including touring with the group, are additional to the fees above. three optional tours are planned:

    1) to southern Israel [tentatively priced at about $275 per person],

    2) to northern Israel [tentatively priced at about $275 per person], and

    3) to Jerusalem, which involves 3 nights in Jerusalem [after the excavation; about $450 per person].

On the weekends, you will have opportunity to travel to other locations in Israel and see where various biblical events took place.
